T-3 Success at Regionals
August 31, 2010
The newest graphite golf shaft design to hit the market in the last 25 years, the T-3 from SteelCityLongDriver.com, is not only performing beyond expectations as a playing shaft for golfers around the world, but has recently "flexed" it's muscle in the sport of LONG DRIVE!
Kevin Wolfe has been building LD clubs for his Steel City Long Drive Team for many months, now, with very good results amongst the Team members. Most notably, and most recently, Mike Hambrick of Pittsburgh, traveled to Browns Summit, N.C. to compete in the Region 2 Finals of the Remax World Long Drive Championship in the Senior Division.
There, Mike became one of 3 automatic qualifiers to "the big show" by blasting a ball, in his last set, 400 yds!
Mike's club of choice? MOI Intruder 6.5* with a T-3 model W6-060-07 shaft (X flex). THAT'S 400 YARDS!!!
Looks like the MOI/T-3 combo could be very HOT for World's this year!
Great Job, Mike!
And T-3. Welcome to Long Drive!
