The Bang-o-matic is the first driver head featuring the Flow Alignment (FA) System technology design. FA directs morer energy from the club head to the ball with less power dispersion. Typically, when the ball strikes the clubface, energy from the contact is spread out over the entire face of the club and some of that energy is even transfered into the body of the head as well.
What Bang has done is developed a system whereby upwards of 94% of the energy created at impact actually gets tranfered back into the shot, not used up in the body of the head! The result is a straighter, longer drive of the golf ball. Most OEM's and some other LD components may transfer as little as 78% of that directional energy back into the shot!
The 460cc Driver head holds the World Record drive of 539 yards for Open Division competitors, 362 yards for the Women's Division competitors, and 400 yards for the Junior Division competitors! Since its debut in 2004 the Bang-O-Matic driver head has won 6 World Long Drive Titles and countless other European, Regional, and Local events as well.
